Become a Judge

SCRSTF welcomes new and returning volunteer judges. No previous judging experience is required. Registered judges receive a guide to the judging process and criteria, and take part in a training session before judging begins.

What judges do

Judges meet student exhibitors, discuss their projects and evaluate them using the fair’s judging criteria. Division and category judging is Friday evening from 6–9 p.m. Special awards judging takes place Saturday from 9 a.m.–noon. Volunteers may participate Friday evening, Saturday morning or both.
