About

Celebrating student STEM projects

The Simcoe County Regional Science and Technology Fair supports youth in our communities as they develop and showcase original projects in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The fair serves youth across Simcoe County, including students from more than 160 public schools, independent schools and homeschool communities. The fair has been operating annually each spring for over 45 years.

A volunteer-led regional fair

SCRSTF is a registered charity. Its committee is made up of volunteers who believe scientific excellence in Simcoe County is worth celebrating. The committee includes teachers, scientists and community members.

Part of a wider science fair community

SCRSTF is affiliated with Youth Science Canada, which organizes the Canada Wide Science Fair each May. Each year, Simcoe County selects seven students in grades 7–12 to travel together and compete at the Canada Wide Science Fair.
